I had to miss the second half of the game (hard to convince my wife that the game is more important than a prenatal class) so I tried watching the OneSoccer replay. The "full match replay" stops after the 78th minute. So, I'm assuming at that point the ref had mercy on the US and stopped the game early

Really not good to see Ledgerwood leave injured. Hopefully it's just precautionary, but it didn't look great. Potential concussion for sure.

What kind of turnout is this for Forge? Looks pathetically thin to me.

Some solid bodychecks being thrown by Forge.

I got to admit, the Forge fans have better songs than we do.

Nothing against the guy, but I hope Escalante is nowhere near the XI for the final. That should’ve been 1-1

The best was when he said the 'mighty Cavalry' haven't managed a shot on net.

Escalante and Buscher needed to be better. So many shots missing the net.

I just hope that Cavalry is not playing against 15 men at the finals.

I'm excited to see some meaningful games again. These 18 friendlies have been fun, but I'm ready for the real games.

Nigel Reed is the only decent announcer they have.
Wheeler, the guy from tonight (and last night) sounds like he trained doing high school football, and then tries to force some soccer terms in.

I assume they'll have Dunfield do color, who adds very little color to the game, just clichéd and getting excited over odd things.

No chance Reed does the Finals.

As for cards tonight, Mal Hamilton and Buscher, so we are in the clear. Does Samuel miss a leg now with that red, or just the next game? Did he get a red because it means missing the next game, whereas an accumulated yellow would mean thr 14 d wait and miss leg 1?

Anyways, nice to wrap up the 2nd half title with a win at home Saturday.

Dunfield is just way over the top for me. I know it was a big win last night and of course I was excited for that, but him just yelling and screaming was a bit much. At least try to be a professional.

I was hoping we'd wrap it up with a win tonight, but I guess we'll have to wait until Saturday now.

Ugh. Escalante sealing the title in the 94' would have been too perfect.

Wheeler is by far the worst PBP guy I have heard on One Soccer. Often I watch the games on mute because of him. He is really good as a host but is just terrible at PBP. Far too much editorializing the play, he gets names wrong, and he talks constantly about everything shown on screen. I hope I get to meet him on the 1st because I would really like to politely tell him that people really can't stand his calls.

Everyone else on One Soccer is decent enough, but not special. I prefer Reed out of the rest because there is just a calmness about his call. Jenkins and Petrillo are decent as well. If it were me, Gareth Hampshire would be the lead guy as I've always loved his PBP, but he works for the Wanderers. It's a shame One Soccer moved away from calling the games live as they had access to a better PBP group.

As for the suspensions. Samuel misses the first leg of the finals as it was a double yellow. Cisse also misses the first leg of the finals due to yellow card accumulation. No one that I know of for Cavalry is missing either leg yet.

Highlights, if desired.

A nice sequence to set up the first goal for Forge if we’re being honest, though Carducci should’ve got more on the punch.

But the Cavs, from these highlights, had more and much better chances, just needed a bit more finish.

Smells like a late incoming rule change!

Regarding Wheeler, his constant use of "country" as a proper noun or whatever the hell is the right way to describe it was absolutely driving me nuts on Tuesday.

"He's done blah blah for country"

"Scored 10 goals for country"

"Is in great form for country"
