Sooo many rainy, crummy days this summer...so it just had to finally be sunny and gorgeous out on the day Ghost of Tsushima gets released didn't it lol. Maybe if I walk to EB and back I'll feel like I took advantage of it and that's good enough..
I just started playing it, man I suck haha.. but I kinda like that point in a game when you're still grasping all the buttons and it's challenging. Seems really cool so far, can't wait until I'm finally set free in this world.
I like how there's no map (save for the pause menu), really helps the immersion and forces you to learn the landscape more..of course the Divine Wind can always guide you too.
I think it’s fabulous so far, sunk in like 6 hours already. But I’m a sucker (ha) for Sucker Punch’s open world design. And the environments are so beautiful.
Yeah I can tell I'm already hooked. Impressive level of depth, especially with combat. I appreciate the challenge, but currently the muscle memory just isn't there.. have all of you died 375 times already, or is that just me?
Ghost of Tsushima looks awesome but I'm pretty burnt out on open world stuff right now. I think that's a game I can wait to play on PS5 when it hopefully has a patch to run at 60fps.

Obviously you suck! Haha.
I’ve only played a few hours but I’ve been thinking about it all day. Really enjoyed what little I’ve dug into and I’ve just scratched the surface (probably had an hour of exploration after all the set up and getting into the story).

It’s the spear guys that always seem to get me. I’ll blast through eight sword and shield guys no problem, some dude comes up with a spear wearing a T-shirt and just wrecks me.
Haha yeah, I struggled with the shield guys a lot too in the beginning, especially prior to learning Water Stance. I had also forgotten about triangle/Y breaking their stance too at first, so it was even harder. I've actually gotten a lot better since writing that this morning..or less sucky anyway. Headed in the right direction!
Another thing I'm enjoying about this game is the button layout. I like R2/RT being used for several functions instead of a button, just feels easier. And granted I didn't play a tonne of different games, but for me anyway, its funny how it took one of the final games ever for this console generation for a game to finally find good, practical uses for the monstro touchpad button. I like what they did with it.
