Saw the dreaded flash today. First one ive got. On center steeet, was going about 10-15 over. Can't find a list of what the fines are online. Also if igo to the Court house is there ways to get it reduced

They will generally cut your fine in half, but is sitting waiting to talk
To a JOP for 3 hours really worth 90 bucks? That's the question you need to answer. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

Anyone know the actually figures? 110-200 is quite a range. Especially for a poor man like myself

Definitely do it then. Show up early though, cuts the line a bit. They usually will offer to take away the point deduction or cut the ticket in half. Since you are photo radar though, points aren't in play, so not sure what they'd do. Make sure to tell the JOP if you are currently not working.

The fines are all listed on a government website. You should be able to find it there.

Just because you saw it flash doesn't mean you'll be getting a ticket.

Sometimes they can't tell who was speeding and won't issue a ticket.

No point deductions from a photo ticket.

If you try and fight a photo radar will they then give you demerits for admitting you were driving?

Here hoping, pretty sure I was alone in the intersection however. Also can I go and "fight" this ticket as soon as I get it or is there a specific date I'll have to go

I was speeding by 3-4 km a couple months ago, and another person zoomed by me and right as he was side by side with my car the flash went off. Never got any notifications.

There is a specific day you have to go.

I think you have to clock 10 or more over to actually get sent the ticket even if it flashes. Anything under 10 could be thrown out because of the calibration of the radar gun.

Unless you live in Edmonton.

I recently had a speed on green, honestly exceeding limit enough to justify a ticket. $198 if paid before certain date. + 20% afterwards.

I just got a photo radar ticket in the mail. $115 for being 11 kmh over the limit.

And now excuse me while I head over to the GMG thread.

If it was a fixed speed on green camera, they can differentiate between the lanes and the ticket will stand even with other cars in the picture.

If it was a mobile photo radar vehicle, they won’t even send the ticket if there is another car that shows up.
