Having a legit major league hitter batting behind Vladdy makes a difference.

Collins doesn’t look like a real hitter to me. Yes, he’s connected on some pitches but I don’t think he should be anywhere near the middle of the order…even with this lineup.

Sending down a long reliever on a day when Kikuchi is pitching should be a fireable offense.

Bo really needs to work on his plate discipline.

When you have a good hitter like Bo, what do you do? It’s clearly physiological. Hopefully they have someone talking to him if there are issues but also from a mechanics perspective I hope the team is examining what’s potentially wrong. He’s young and with so many games now he should have it figured out.

No communication in the outfield. Tapia should’ve taken charge.

Bo is 0-4. Needs to start hitting with some consistency eventually or the lineup will have to change, especially when they get healthy.

Maybe they should try hitting Espinal 2nd.

That's what I was thinking. The 3 Jays that have been most consistent at the plate have been Springer, Vlad, and Espinal. So reward Espinal for his solid play.
For the love of god Charlie needs to manage his roster and move Bo out of the 2 spot. The dude is an outstanding player and will be a cornerstone of this team for years to come. But he is actually costing the Jays wins right now with his poor play. Drop him down. Take the pressure off and let him try to find his stride.

And Chapman watches one go by. You gotta give yourselves a chance. Get the bat off the shoulder with 2 strikes.

At least Espinal took a swing at it.
Hope the Jays can bounce back tomorrow.
