From what I understand that was procedural as he has already been injured for 50 plus days, I think it was to open up a spot on the 40 man roster, Pearsons timeline to return hasn’t changed, there were no set backs.

He cracks me up when he runs...short legs and big torso=haha.
But the guy can flat out put the bat on the ball. Really good catcher too. He could fetch a really nice return at the TD if they so choose to go that route.
Also...is he not the oldest looking 23 year old you have ever seen?

I love the Kirk/Jansen tandem and I hope that this season at least we let them play it through. Such an advantage to have two above average to elite catchers
