Soccer can be the most petty sport at high levels some times.

Feel like most directors / leaders of clubs have such frail egos.

Case in point - Spain firing their coach two days before a world cup because he took a job without informing them first.

Germany shouldn't lose to us, but in regards to the Canada thing - we've improved MASSIVELY over the last decade. Looking at that 2006 team in comparison to our team now is a joke. It's too bad we ####ed up the quali because I I'm sure we wouldn't look out of place in Russia (we beat them last week too, by the way ).

A couple months ago when I had to book my vacation time for the summer, I was debating taking the entire world cup off but decided against it ultimately and instead took off random time in August. I'm kicking myself now because world cup fever has officially set in for me now. Very excited!
