If it's any consolation they usually do that to try out new material, sometimes it's bad? Sorry for your loss, dang.

Bill Burr played the downstairs room at Mac hall a few years ago and there were seats.

A ####ty place for a comedy show though. Terrible sound in there and the most inefficient liquor sales I've ever seen

MacHall is a pretty unsuitable venue for most entertainment, unfortunately.

I saw Eric Andre in Vancouver last night. Easily the most bizarre show I've ever been attended.

He basically did the Eric Andre show and interviewed a guy from the audience, then invited a hundred people to rush the sage as his 'next guest', then brought a guy up to chug ranch dressing (then throw it up), then interviewed Canadian actor Paul Anthony (I think that's his name). All of this was cut with pre-recorded skits displayed on screens throughout the venue and lots of crowd-surfing by Andre. It ended with Andre coming out naked with his bits tucked between his legs, declaring that he is transsexual. The whole set was maybe 40 minutes tops.

I think the guy is a good comedian but this was way out there. I'm still processing it.

Dean Delray is headlining the Comic Strip in the mall that eats people in Edmonton. Don't know how good his stand up is but his podcast is my favorite by a wide margin. Worth checking out if you are a big fan of rock/metal.

Jim Jefferies is playing Edmonton. I saw him in Calgary last October. Was amazing. Definitely worth the ride up if you like stand up.

I think I saw a sign for Jaenene Garofolo putting on a show at the Plaza? What's that about?

It's part of the YYComedy festival. Todd Barry is doing a show there too. Should be fun.

Amy Schumer at the dome tonight. Should be fun! Interested to see what a stand-up show at the Dome will be like.

Just got back from Jim Jeffries at the Jube. It was hilarious. Nice mix between regular bits and some off the cuff jokes for the local audience. He seemed really relaxed up there. Like he was just shooting the #### for a few hours.

Dave Chappelle Netflix series came out today and I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Thought I'd be disappointed.

I thought the first Chappelle special was just ok, almost done the second one and it's much better.
