Frolik has really meshed well with Backlund, and Tkachuk filling out that line was found money last season. Hard not to appreciate what Frolik has brought to the team since signing here, fantastic UFA signing all around. Great to hear he's knocked the fitness tests out of the park as well after undergoing wrist surgery in the summer.

Favourite plays: The give and go goal with Backlund in DET, and the 3 way tic-tac-toe goal in PIT.

I don't think I've ever seen a more consistent player than Frolik. It's amazing how consistent he is offensively every season

Hands down Brad Treliving's best UFA signings thus far. Glad he was healthy for most of last year as he is an integral part of the team.

After watching all of AC's videos this summer, he makes pretty much all of our players look like all stars..

He is just so solid and unspectacular. Exactly what you want if you a coach of a team.

He can compliment pretty much any player on the ice and is very good defensively as well.

Something subtle but super impressive is how so many of these highlights are from defensive zone starts.

Solid player and he and Backlund should stay together all season.

Agreed, best UFA signing by Treliving thus far. Hoping for more of these types of UFAs. Frolik is such a beaut for his money and he has some pretty damn good speed to keep up with the defensive play and to get around opposing D in the offensive zone. He is above average in just about everything.
