Great signing. Especially to poach him away from the Oilers. Underrated skills, and seemed to mesh well with Bennett as well as a PP quarterback of sorts. Also lethal in the shootout which always helps.

Favourite plays: Has to be the queen wave to Rangers fans as he's getting kicked out of the game. His between the legs backhand pass to Brouwer in CBJ was also great. His shortside snipe vs ANA was ridiculous too.

Kind of frustrating to watch at 5v5 sometimes, but he was an amazing pickup and is the perfect third line scoring depth forward.

Is it just me or on that first shootout goal, did he bring the puck backwards and around the goalie to score? Not sure that one should have counted?

I thought so too for a second, but with further watching I'm pretty sure it was just the camera angle.

No, unfortunately I don't have that footage.

I spend the season archiving highlights after each Flames game. So I'm not in a position to do AHL players or players from other teams which I get the occasional request for as well.
