Nov 11-

Tyler Parsons with a big game after returning from injury
30 save shutout for a 7-0 win.
5gp 2.72gaa 0.901sv%

Phillips with 2g +1 in a 4-2 win.]
18gp 9g 11a 20pts +14

Tuulola held pointless in a 2-1 win.
7gp 4g 2a 6pts +2

Have to start to think the longer Dube is still injured he may miss out on a good opportunity to make the Canadian WJC team this year. Hasn't played this season with a knee injury

How's tuulola been doing this year? Looks like aside from the early injury, kids been getting his points.

He's a work in progress. His shot is good enough that he's a really valuable PP weapon for the Tips. But otherwise he's a third liner who's improving, from what I'm told.

Johnny 2.0 played very well tonight in a Royals 6-2 win. It was broadcasted on shaw so I'm surprised no one has posted. Had a 4 point night with 2 goals and 2 Apples. The kid is always a threat on the ice, and can really drive play. Honestly reminds me of Johnny a lot. He is freaking tiny tho!

Eetu had a goal and an assist tonight in a first star performance for Everett.

Dube had 1 assist in a 4-1 win.

Phillips had a hat trick and first star in a losing effort.

Good night for the WHL kids.

Parsons is 2nd in GAA and 4th in save percentage in the entire OHL. He's also 8-1-2.

Schneider hasn't lost a game since October 22nd and has won 12 in a row. He's also 4th in GAA and a respectable 11th in save percentage for the entire WHL among qualified goalies. His overall record is 19-2-1

Parsons’ standout November was headlined by a 30-save shutout performance in a 7-0 win over Kingston on November 11th. The cool thing abut Matt Phillips is that he's got one full WHL season left in him after this one before he's eligible to play in the AHL. So he'll get a ton of time to play and develop on a good WHL team.

London loses 3-2 in a SO.
Parsons made 23 saves on 25 shots. He also let in 2 out of 2 shoot out attempts.
Watched a little bit of that game, the opposing netminder McNiven (who is invited to Canada's WJC camp) stole the game.

Victoria tied 1-1 after 1
Phillips with the Royals goal
27gp 20g 11a 31pts +12

Everett trailing 1-0 half way through the 1st
Tuulola
16gp 6g 4a 10pts +3

Noticed Dube was out of the lineup again for Kelowna last night. Hope he's not injured again. The world junior camp must be starting soon too. Would be a shame if he misses that.

Well the selection camp started this morning, so he was probably scratched so he could make selection camp and not take a red eye flight to quebec and show up dead tired.

Thanks for the info! Good to hear. Tried looking to see when the camp started, but couldn't find it.

2 more primary assists through 40 minutes for Phillips bringing him to 40 points on the year in 32 games. He's on pace for 90 points through 72 games which would be a 12 point improvement on his rookie year but I think he could push for 100+ as he seems to be picking up speed.
