I get enough human interaction between January and April to last most of the year and its a distinct reason for my gradual decline into insanity.

Arya Stark spotted in Banff. Rumours this coming season will have some familiar Banff area scenery for fans of the show. Nothing conclusive but the Direwolves in the show are owned by a company in town.

My understanding is they are doing two 7 episode arcs. Depending on how you want to classify that, it could either mean two separate seasons or you could call it season 7 pt 1 and season 7 pt 2.

Either way, they will air another 7 episodes starting around next summer.

Two more shortened seasons. The last I heard, they expect to have about 13 more episodes in total, so likely a 7 episode 7th season and a 6 episode 8th season.

Now that there's a premiere date set, we should get a confirmation of the episode count soon.
