I'm glad they didn't change it. Changing by 1 hour twice a year is hardly a hindrance.

Because we don't want it to stay dark until 9:30am in the winter time.
If only there was some way to ensure later sunsets in the summer, but earlier sunrises in the winter.

Some type of savings of daylight, something to do with time or something?

I want summer time year round. Is that too much to ask?

Not that it matters, but didn't Richard Starke have something similar in his PC leadership platform?

This will cause too much confusion as to when gun-slinging showdown shootouts will occur. High noon? Sun at the highest point in the sky?

I don't get why countries close to the equator don't shift their time. Its typical to have sun from 6 am-6 pm in those places.
Why not 8 am-8 pm so you get a little sunlight after work? I don't get it.

I think the big reason is the heat of the day. In a lot of tropical places, the most comfortable time of day to be outside is after sunset.
That's why Arizona doesn't go on DST.

Some like having it bright and sunny before they go to work.
