Taking a while to get to 5000

Ugly game. But even the best teams get shelled now and then. Boston & Washington both did today. Now watch the Flames inexplicably route Boston on Monday.

So I missed the better part of this game of the game and when I tuned in they Flames were out of it on even shots. So someone fill me in. Were the Panthers hots high quality and the Flames weren't? Did one team just have finish and the other didn't? Was it Rittich?

Bipolar team.
Consistently determined on the road. Equally fragile and resigned on their own ice.
Its gonna end our season in 82 if they don't address it. The commitment to defence in particular is just lackadaisical here I feel. Giving up a lot of high danger opportunities and open ice around our net.

Pretty obvious that Murray Edwards is telling the team to suck at the Dome to get more support for a new arena.

Also, them calling that Lazar goal "no goal" on the ice was absurd. I know it likely wouldn't have changed the outcome but come on. The ref was emphatically signalling a goal. There's no way the officials in the neutral zone had a better look at it.

Build the home arena in Seattle, and keep the Flames in Calgary. That may do the trick

PGT: Why didn't Dougie score 7 goals?
Just me, or was the call on the ice a goal?
I thought the wave off was that it wasn’t a high stick and then the puck in the net was followed by emphatic pointing at the puck...that was a ref signalling goal if I’ve ever seen it.
Even the announcers were giving it the old “um, ok?”
