I was lucky enough to meet Lanny at a Charity softball game at Seaman Stadium last summer. Took time to meet, greet and talk with every fan that approached him. Loves talking with fans and is a great rep for the Alumni group that attends various charity events.

I always thought Lanny was older than he is because be looked 50 in 1989.

No kidding. Lanny was 35 that year. Compare to Iggy, who was 35 when he got traded from Calgary, or Gio who was 35 two years before going to Seattle. Michael Backlund will be 34 in a month.
