pretty boring 1st period.

IMO Providence had the most possession that period, but not a lot of quality scoring chances

As you say, pretty boring hockey.

The PBP guy has a cold and his sniffling is quite annoying.

Gillies gives up a PP goal. Made the initial save but the rebound was loose in the crease.

Mingoia scores 4-1.

Think Jankowski might get an assist

This is the first Providence game I've been able to watch this season. Jankowski is using his size a lot better than he did in the games I've watched in his first two years.

He's a big kid.

10 points in 13 games. I'd like him to be at 12-14 but not bad at all.

Driving the net a lot more, this game specifically. One of my biggest criticisms in the off season.

Friars win!

Jankowski finishes with 1G/1A, and his goal stands as the game winner.

Gillies stops 22 of 23 shots faced. The only puck to beat him was a UMass PP goal.
