Seriously just die. And I'll admit, the whole reason I hate the ad IS because it's so catchy. No matter how I try to get it out of my head it stays there. It's like they found the musical/jingle equivalent of meth and I can't get off it! I hear it once in a day and it'll be playing in my head at bedtime. it's in my head now thanks to me writing about it.

I hate this trend where everyone is trying to be a comedian in their ads. Maybe 10% hit the mark.

I don't know who I'm about to offend, but is commercial advertising the least qualified job on earth? I think pan handling takes more skill, with how f'g stupid some of these commercials are.
It's almost awkward to listen to these ridiculous skits they play for the first 15 seconds, before they get to the point about what they're selling. I have some advice for the companies that are doing this (and it's like 50%), just lop off the first half of the commercial, keep the next 10 seconds, and then ditch the stupid extra joke at the end of the commercial. I just saved you 66% on your advertising budget.

The Calcana heater spot that is running on 960. A son talking to his dad about the dad sneaking into the rink to watch him play hockey, hiding behind the zamboni. WTF, why wouldn't a dad go see his son play, what the #### is so special about him sneaking.......

Pretty much all the commercials that 660 News (Rogers Entertainment?) produces are garbage. They are all absolutely awful. The same, bad voice over actors, the same cheesy writing and annoying delivery... and when a company wants to record their own commercials (ie. the flip-your-house guy that people complained about above) they're just as freakin' bad. Has anyone heard the new Country Hills Toyota commercial that 660 produced where the head of sales and some other guy are exchanging 'witty banter' back & fourth? Just SO bad.

Serves you right for listening to 660 news. Whenever I hop in my mom's car it's on that station. All I can here is '660 news here we are 660 news up to the minute 660 news.. btw we're 660 news'. I honestly think the commercials would be preferable to having to listen to their content.

I guess some of the 40-60 year old women and gays may find him attractive but the vast majority think it's simply bizarre casting.

he's considered bizarre but he seems a little loved in that article, not even a suggestion that his 80s GMC van with tinted windows is idlling in the alley waiting for a victim...

He doesn't bother me the way he seems to bother others. I don't think he's hot though. That seems to be a giant stretch.
I am more bothered by Captain Obvious, who looks like a hobo that some producer threw a terrible military-esque costume on after finding him foraging in a dumpster behind the studio. Could have at least shaved him or bathed him or something. Poor guy.

Does the Trivago guy have wind blowing through his hair, like a super model?
I like Captain Obvious hotel commercials.

As a woman what do you think of his tucked in shirt/no belt look? I'd like to get in on the trend early if possible.

I've seen men dressed way, way, way worse than this, so if a tucked in shirt and no belt is your fashion faux pas, I could live with it. It's not a great look, but I would honestly take this over a lot of other things guys are currently wearing. I would have this mans babies before ever considering even looking in the general direction of guys in skinny jeans that still end up sitting half down their asses.

The trivago guy doesn't bother it me like it does some here, but I do notice his freakishly long upper body.

Say what you will about the disheveled homeless guy that Trivago uses as their spokesman now, those ads are infinitely better than that awful one they ran repeatedly during the Olympics, with the creepy fat guy who used Trivago to stay at the same hotel as the bitchy supermodel.
I'm not sure who that ad was supposed to appeal to.

Yep the FML (florescent man lighting) commercials have officially pissed me off. They get played all the time on 1060, and if I wanted to hear some whiny 20-something chick yell out "FML", I would go back in time 6 years and go straight.
