In happier news, Lowell from Season 4 won a silver medal in the Para Pan Am Games.

Hunh, didn't see that ending coming. I guess the downfall of those two was themselves bickering amongst themselves. I doubt that they'd have done the sledge hockey challenge any better though, given that Irina is allergic to physical activity.
Looking forward to the Finale!

How do you like them apples, Dave & Irina?
This week, the teams travel to Nova Scotia and it's a good week for the prairie teams. 5 of the final 6 racers are from Alberta or Saskatchewan.
- Anthony & James (Win a trip to Singapore)
- Sarah & Sam
- Lauren & Joanne
- Dave & Irina
- Aarthy & Thinesh
- Trish & Amy
- Meaghan & Marie
- Gilles & Sean
- Nicki & Aisha
- Jet & Dave
- WhiteTiger: Lauren & Joanne / Trish & Amy
- EldrickOnIce: Jet & Dave / Nicki & Aisha
- Fuzz: Sarah & Sam / Meaghan & Marie
- Amethyst: Anthony & James / Dave & Irina
- getbak: Dave & Irina / Aarthy & Thinesh
- GoinAllTheWay: Aarthy & Thinesh / Gilles & Sean
- Weitz: Gilles & Sean / Lauren & Joanne
- surferguy: Meaghan & Marie / Anthony & James
- csnarpy: Trish & Amy / Sarah & Sam
- bigtmac19: Nicki & Aisha / Jet & Dave
My two teams combined to win 7 of the first 9 legs of the race, and neither of them survive to see leg 11. I can't say I'm sad to see Dave & Irina go home.
Au revoir, jerkfaces.
Next week, the final three teams head to Cottage Country for the finale. Who will win it all?

Dave knew sledge hockey was the easier one but she wouldn't do it.
Its amazing that the sisters picked the wrong detour both weeks and still survive.

Outcome was desirable.
All give them this much, they were gracious in defeat but you just know they would have been intolerable winners.

So Amazing Race Vietnam did run a leg in North Korea. They were actually able to walk around and ask for directions! Maybe Amazing Race Canada one day!
Here are two short clips.

I had a feeling they were screwed when they were boasting at the beginning of the leg that a Quebec team hadn't won the race before but they were about to change that.
The Sask sisters have had some interesting luck to see them get this far. I think they've got be be the least favoured. The native guys I think have the best shot. I'll be happy with whoever crosses the finish line first.

I'm cheering for Sam and Sarah!
But will take the sisters as they are my team..
The native guys winning would be great too.
Pretty good final 3 if you ask me.

This week, the final three make their ways to Ontario Cottage Country and a team from Alberta wins for the second year in a row.
- Anthony & James: Amethyst & surferguy
- Sarah & Sam: Fuzz & csnarpy
- Lauren & Joanne: WhiteTiger & Weitz
The editing made the run to the finish line look like a dead heat, but it likely wasn't close.
Anthony & James are the third same-sex couple to win TAR:Canada in the last 4 years.

Well, my team managed to blow it at nearly every turn, though I did get a good laugh with them and the elf. What luck there.
This entire episode seemed anti-climactic. It was the Anthony & James show, basically. But, not a bad episode overall.
