Rumor has it there will be a large Hogwarts Castle later this year. However, it will be microscale, similar to the SHIELD Helicarrier.

The Quiddich match looks like fun though and seems good value but what I really want is a bigger $400 version of the Great Hall or something else Hogwarts related with a ton of detail. Also I would like the train however it looks like it would require modifications to add a battery pack and fit on the Lego tracks
JangBricks has a YouTube video up on how to modify the train. It doesn't look too difficult to do, provided you have some basic motors and/or other train parts.

Looks good I just wish it wasn't microscale.

Well now I'm torn. I love all things Harry Potter, but the microscale kind of kills it for me. Oh well, Good price and it will probably be a fun build with all of the different rooms. I'll still end up with it

Finally pulled the trigger on this set. Wish I had it in time for the long weekend so I could build but what can you do. Gonna look good next to my UCS XWing.

Nice! I've got this bad boy, too. Waiting to submit my thesis before cracking it open though.

Holy crap, I knew Lego sets have been getting increasingly complicated over the years, but I didn't know they'd gotten so complicated you needed to write a thesis before building one.

Long story but I had to buy the Y Wing UCS set from amazon instead of buying directly from Lego.

Except stupid amazon shipped the box on its own. That is to say they put shipping labels directly on the Lego box. Removing the shipping labels damaged the box. I was as careful as I could be but it ripped chunks of the box off, exposing the cardboard.

Is this worth complaining about? It seems like a minor issue and I just keep the box in a closet anyways in case I ever want to disassemble or sell the set but I'm still not happy.

Double boxing is a must, particularly for potential collector's items.

I'd definitely write them. Even if they don't refund anything, hopefully it will stop them from doing it again.

I'm looking for help. I have recieved a bunch of LEGO from my grandfather to add to my collection. I'm working on rebuilding his old Sopwith Camel however i'm missing pieces. After shopping on the LEGO website, a number of pieces I need are "out of stock". Is there anywhere else to go for specific pieces? Thanks

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/main.page

You'll want their "Parts" marketplace.

Sorry if image size is too big. Posting on my phone.
My son and I just finished this. About a full month to build, about 1-1.5 hrs per night. Probably one of the most fulfilling builds I have ever done.
Really cool attention to detail, gear system, steering system, body, really everything.

I’m in love with LEGO robotics/technic. My students and I have been building the bucket wheel excavator for over a month. Really fun set to put together and great value!

Rumour that there will be 2 new LEGO Star Wars UCS sets in 2019... a new Corvette (1500 pc) and a new Imperial Star Destroyer (4500 pc).
