Default Good price on a Home Theater Receiver if you want to price match at Futureshop

Futureshop is selling the Denon AVR-591 for $479.99.
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...29cae19fefen02
Costco sells it for $379.99.
http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product....A&Sp=C&topnav=

Futureshop will beat any competitors price by 10% of the difference.

That means you can get it from FS for $369.99.

Its a good receiver.

Futureshop won't price match Costco because you have to pay for a yearly membership.

You should probably buy it from Costco anyways.

Their return policy is great. I bought a T.V from them and had it for 5 years untill the picture started fading a bit and they exchanged it for a LCD T.V it on the spot no questions asked.

I bought this today. Showed them the costco.ca price and they said ok... we will match it plus take another $10 off for a final price of $369.97.

They didn't ask to see my Costco membership.

On this Costco only has a 30 day return policy and the warranty is the same that Denon offers... 1 year.

... thus no advantage in buying it from Costco.

I dont know which Costco you go to, but the one here in the N.E is pretty good with returning stuff. Also exchanged a ipod touch I had for over 2 years for a newer version.

Costco's Risk Free 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

Membership: We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied.

Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell and will refund your purchase price, with the following exceptions:

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days from the date of purchase for televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPodŽ/MP3 players and cellular phones and other products identified by Costco from time to time.

Diamonds: When returning items containing a 1.00 ct diamond or larger, Costco will require additional time to verify the diamond, in which case a refund will be approved upon positive verification. This process may require two to five business days.

Costco may in the future restrict its return policy regarding other products. Restriction will be shown at the point of purchase.

We ask that you return all other merchandise within 30 days with a Costco receipt and in the original packaging.

I phoned Costco and checked on this. Receivers definitely are in the 30 day return category and only have a warranty that matches the manufacturers.
