Why does Huby often seem poorly positioned and disinterested? He doesn't move to find open ice, create space for himself or put himself in position to receive passes. It's all so odd

What do y'all think of Stecher so far?
My thoughts: He's been quietly solid defensively, and has had good jump offensively with some solid playmaking instincts. Nice speed as well. Gets outmuscled a little too often.

Good call, Darryl, let’s take out the speed and put in the penalty machine!

I suspect it’s because you are looking for mistakes and remembering only those. Because usually he’s good position.

Not sure I agree with this. I haven’t minded Nick Ritchie so far actually.

A clever deadline acquisition in my eyes. I’d be happy to see him back on the bottom pair next season.

I don't think he has a clue how to navigate this roster back toward sustained success. That's an opinion. And given that this head coach has won a grand total of one playoff series in his last six seasons as a head coach ... well, I don't think it's far out of left field.

Fair enough.
Do you no longer attend Wranglers games and all associated either?

Really good road game so far and the OOT couldn't be friendlier. Huge opportunity for the Flames!

If you fused Nick and Brett into one player you'd have a decent NHLer. Brett is a reasonably smart player with no skill and Nick is a skilled player with absolutely no hockey smarts.

Stetcher has been a nice quiet and steady addition
Since Stone's departure, I think Hanifin is the weakest defensive D on the team, followed by Zadorov. But Zadorov plays less so he's not as much of a liability.
Weegar and Tanev are money.
