Good morning CP!
I don't know about you but it feels like a great day for hockey. The dog days of the crazy summer are behind us and it's time to start watching the boys in red again! Well.. the rookies at least.
Lineups and stream for both teams can be found at Calgaryflames.com.
Notables: how will Jacob Pelletier handle the increased pressure as fans pencil him in for a roster spot before the season begins? How will Cole Schwindt, the less often talked about piece in the Tkachuk trade perform? When can we expect to see our stud goaltending prospect, Dustin Wolf earn a promotion? Tonight won't give us the answers to those questions fully, but we can start speculating!

Taking a while to get to 5000
|
I've (almost) always been able to stream these games in Saskatchewan but Freeway suggested it may be geo locked (also noted he wasn't sure how this worked)  so I'm hoping that will still be the case.

Pumped to see Zary, Pelletier, Wolf, Nikolaev. To me they're the big 4 non Euro/NCAA prospects.

I have never encountered that in the Young Stars tournament. I can't see it.

my son hasn't stopped talking about getting to see the flames "in real life" for the last week!

I'm no expert but I think so? Years ago when I had Xplornet internet I couldn't stream pre-season games or Young Stars while living in Sask. My IP address showed me as being in Ontario or somewhere east. Switched to a local provider and I got the games the next year (and ever since).
Unsure if one is related to the other but I'm hoping they abide by the NHL regional rules none the less.
