If Conroy can keep getting the returns he’s been getting, keep selling!

Just not sure why the Flames would do that, unless he’s indicated he’s not happy here. He’s still young, and if we’re retooling rather than a full scale rebuild, not sure it makes any sense.

The haul would have to be absolutely massive.
He's arguably the player with the most value on the entire team.

This is one that some team would have to really overpay to pull the trigger now...but I wouldn't be surprised if Buffalo was offering Mittelstadt+

Well I hope that plus your referencing is something actually exciting, and like 3 more pieces.

Would rather sign Hanifin and trade Rasmus if possible.

Knies + Cowan + 1st? Even then I don't think it's enough.

Passing on all of it. If they trade Andersson, I would be looking for an A+ prospect.

Lots of leafs fans saying Marner is expendable and they’d rather get something for him then see him walk
Mangiapane + Andersson for Marner hockey trade style?
Nvm lol his NMC has kicked in this year

Not sure why the Flames would want Marner. Do we think he will sign with us, cause if not he is a one year rental.
He also has a NMC and is not going to waive to go to Calgary.

Who is going to play defence if Hanifan, Andersson and Tanev are traded?

We need to keep some quality vets around to help usher in the youth. We can’t trade them all. If Hanifin has agreed to sign, then maybe it’s ok to trade Andersson. I think we might get a bigger haul for him, too.

They only make a move like that if Hanifin agrees to re-sign.

In my view, this is the ideal scenario.

I wonder if Markstrom getting traded (if it happens) is the final straw for some of our vet players on the fence about playing through a 'retool' - could be the case here?
