That's a man with fine taste! And good to know I'm not the only person walking around with a Horak jersey. I did mine up in his number #21 though.

I asked Doug Gilmour to sign the front of a vintage jersey on the Flaming C. I regretted it for awhile because it looked a bit odd. Do players normally sign on their numbers?

No regrets but I'm not feeling like putting numbers and name anymore, too many trades in this league.

I just take the name bars off myself. I feel no shame with a Jersey that just has a number on it.

I still rock my 2004 Warrener jersey all the time, but maybe its time to upgrade? Was thinking of grabbing a Johnny for next season. I hate feeling like "part of the crowd" (as you can see with the Warrener jersey), but I love the Johnny hockey story.

Jumping on the Baertschi bandwagon, what a complete and total failure on my part.
And on a beautiful Retro jersey as well.

I cringe every time I see someone wearing a 69 jersey with their last name/nickname on the back...
The sad part is they think it's bad ass! Haha

I have no regrets. I only have an Iginla horsehead jersey and I still love it. There, I said it: I still love the horsehead.

surprised with all the love of the Dawes Jersey. 1 season and 66 games. Couldn't stick in the NHL. I had no qualms and remember he created some buzz when he was here... but for a jersey, seems odd and definitely one I'd regret.
To each there own but it's gotta be minimum 3 years a flame and some sort of memorable contribution for me to consider stitching a name on my jersey. Don't get me wrong I love seeing the obscure names and reminders of past flames. Hearing the Dawes story made me laugh, its awesome in it's own right. For props though, a Yelle jersey or someone along that lines is more fitting. Dawes is just really a strange choice.

I have a 2004 Lombardi. Don't regret that one as much as my Reebook Retro 3rd Tanguay. Why oh why did I make such a beautiful jersey unwearable?

Regret the Baertschi jersey I bought a few years back. A great retro jersey now unwearable.
Also have an authentic jersey that I had went back and forth between Gio and Cammy coming out of the lockout. Went with Cammy since number 13 is my favourite number, slight regret on that one now.
Both are signed as well so can't just change the name bar.

Mostly the horrible knockoff ones. They scream "hey everyone, I'm cheap."

Im another 47 Baertschi guy. Sigh.
3 Iginlas.
2 Kiprusoff.
I've got you all beat with a signed #31 Ken Wregget. But I don't regret it one bit, one of the coolest hockey players/people I've ever met.

Adults who put their own names on the jersey should feel regret.

My #11 Yelle jersey was my go-to for game nights until I picked up my #24 Conroy classic jersey. First game wearing that was when I was given suite tickets and Lanny McDonald signed it, Flames won that night, and they have been undefeated since when I wear it to the dome, including Saturday night. So as much as I still like my Yelle jersey and would wear it with pride, I'm not screwing with a working formula
Only regret is maybe the Tim Tomas Bruins jersey I have in my closet. Drunken revelry buy when the Bruins beat the Canucks in the cup final, but I'm not even that big of a fan of the Bruins and then Thomas had to go all crazy. That one likely never gets worn, except maybe if I'm ever in Vancouver again

Blank blue slug jersey - regrets -- only gets worn to play hockey outside now
Current home jersey #30 Miller - no regrets
Blank 40th anniversary 3rd jersey - no regrets, my favorite one I own

Think I've told this story before here, but it warrants mentioning again either way haha.
Back at the start of 07 a friend of mine had finally gotten into hockey enough to buy his first flames jersey, but his parents couldn't afford the cresting right away. It was a few weeks after Christmas when his mom had his jersey sent away to get it all done up. When it finally came back he was so freaking ecstatic he decided to wear it to school the next day... however, since his house didn't get the paper delivered to it and we didn't really have cells back then, he showed up to school completely unaware that the player who's name he had JUST gotten stitched onto the jersey had been traded the previous night. I had a pretty hard time not laughing myself into a coma when he showed up the next day and utterly refused to believe me until I showed him the paper. He's never worn it even once since, it's been sitting in his garage for the past 8 years.
If you're curious, it was a Kobasew jersey, which is pretty regrettable in it's own right
