Have there been any fights yet with two people wanting the same car?

Just hit the reserve button on the app before you start walking, no fights possible.

Those are used by my friend all the time. He takes it to work most days and always parks around 6th Street East and 16th Avenue so he can walk home to Mountview.

Problem is you don't actually find out if it worked or not until it hits your CC....time for a gamble I guess

Anyone know when they tell you if the promo code worked?
I just signed up, put in the code and it didn't say anything.
Guess I'll wait till I get the confirmation email?

It worked for me but after I registered I was wondering the same thing. Should have at least confirmed if the code worked? Or maybe if a fee will be applied it takes you to a billing page? It was weird but I was never chaarged.

I don't think the free 30 minutes is there anymore, just the free signup. I don't see anywhere that says 30 minutes free on my account.

I just registered using "onward" as well. No indication of whether I paid or it was free. Oh well. I think I might actually use this. I live inside the home area and could easily park right outside my place. We only have 1 car between two of us so it might come in handy.

You can call and ask, which I just did, and yes, its still active as of today. Just registered the wife.

edit: her account shows no free minutes, as mentioned above, whereas mine registered last month did indeed come with the 30 minutes using the same code

I am pretty sure it takes a bit to go to your account. I just logged on and I have 60 minutes now. I signed up about 2-3 weeks ago

Looking out my window there are 4 of the cars in a row across from the BP building. I think the free parking downtown. If you have an appt downtown, its probably cheaper to use the car2go.
Would work really well for people who live downtown and don't own a car. It would make grabbing groceries a lot easier. Could also use one to get downtown on the weekend when you are planning on drinking and don't want to have to cab both ways.

Yup, they are definitely getting used. Fun to see the website map, during the day a whole bunch in the CBD, and as the work day ends they all start to spread out in the home area as people use them to get home.

I called as well and was told it was still active. They told me it was free registration and 30 min free for Calgary. So I expect to eventually be credited with the 30min. Probably takes a few days.

The 30 minute credit took about a week or so to show up on my account when I viewed it online.

Indeed it does take a few days for the credit to appear in your account info, if my experience is anything to go off of. I signed up over the first weekend they were active and received my membership card about three days later. Around the same time I got the card the 30 minutes were credited to my account. A few (~3) weeks later another 30 minutes appeared in my account. Not sure why, but they're there, credited to the promo code 'ONWARD'. I filled out an online survey for another 15 minutes; so far I've taken a couple drives and have yet to pay a cent for it.
