Pardon my ignorance if already posted, but does anyone have local start times for these games? Would love to either stay up late or get up early and enjoy some Flames hockey with a coffee!

These games are being broadcast on SN, but anyone know if it will be streamed online? I'll be in Europe so the time works perfect for me. But I'm going to need to stream it.

Kulak has been a beast this off-season! I don't think there's been much the Flames have done that he hasn't been involved in.

K, so should I be trying to buy tickets from a scalper or should I buy online?
The $250 tickets look decent, but if it's empty or I can buy seats at the door for $50 and move I might be into that.
If anyone has any questions about China travel let me know. I'm there 3/4 times a year so I know the drill with visas, how to get them and where, as well as flights and accommodation.

Are the Chinese attending these games in numbers high enough where it's worth it to keep bringing teams over? I get that every team has to do their part so I'm not complaining that the Flames have to do this but with a lot on the line this season it's not the ideal start.

Besides Jankowski, there's no other prospect that I want to succeed more than Andersson.
I did not know he spoke 5 languages but I love the fact that he looks like an American redneck haha

I'll be attending the Shenzhen game. Already bought the tickets online and they should be en route to my cousin's place in Shenzhen.
I'm making a holiday out of this trip to see other parts of the country. It's going to be great!

Getting a Chinese Visa in Calgary is quick and easy. Their Visa office is on 8th & 8th above the Tim Horton's. You can fill the app out online and bring a passport photo. $142 for a 10 year visa (you'll get max 9 since it has to expire before your passport). It takes 4 business days to get it back.
If you're staying at a hotel you can provide hotel/arrival details.
If you know someone there - a Chinese citizen or the like then you'll need an invitation letter from that person indicating relationship to you, your passport details, reason for visit and visiting time frame, and a picture of his/her ID card on both sides and a signature. This seems to be toughest part I find.

Patrice Bergeron confirmed to media just now that he will not make trip to China because of rehab for groin injury he had surgery for earlier in summer. #NHLBruins

Marchand should stay back to look after him. Give us an even better chance.

A better chance at what? These are exhibition games, and apart from their relative meaninglessness the Flames should be able to stack up well against any team in the League especially with the changes made over the summer.

A better chance at winning. Obviously.
These are exhibition games, sure, with a roster that will resemble the day one roster right off the get go. I want this team to get off to a good start and to get that they need to gel. I want to see them find their groove quickly.
I agree that they should stack up well against anyone, but the game is played on ice. Not paper.

Not that there is much similarity but (not) Last year (2016-17 ) , after ( one entire year before) their preseason in China the Canucks and Kings results in October were:
L.A 4-5-0 and Vancouver 4-4-1
FWIW the Flames went 4-5-1
Edit: This Post is Fake News!

It feels as though this needs to be reiterated every year: the outcomes in pre-season games and a team's individual pre-season record is virtually meaningless.
1-5-0
3-2-1
3-4-0
2-3-2
Those are the pre-season records for the four Conference finalists last season, and the team with only one win ended up as the Stanley Cup champions.
How did I find these numbers? Thankfully, the ever-unrealistically optimistic and entitled Edmonton Oilers publish a full accounting of the pre-season complete with League-wide "standings." Those same Oilers notched the best record in the pre-season last year, and were the only team to win six games.
Again, VIRTUALLY MEANINGLESS.

To be clear I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I looked it up purely out of interest.

Oh, no. I didn't mean to impugn your post. It was merely very conveniently on topic, and included elements of what I was arguing.

A better chance at not receiving any head shots.
