Default October 13, with four games.

It is a quiet Friday OOT, but, a good game on national television prior to the Flames game.

Fleury just got kneed in the head by Mantha. Knights can't afford to have him injured

3-2 for Vegas now as they try to remain as the only undefeated team. Neal scored his 6th goal.

There are lots Wings fans at the game. Numerous red jerseys in the crowd and the cheers for Detroit goals are almost as loud as for Vegas goals.

They have been very prepared to start the season, Neal is playing like Hart candidate, Fleury is playing like a Vezina candidate, and their opponents so far (Dallas, Phoenix x2, and Detroit) aren't exactly top teams.

The Knights with their first ever loss. Zetterberg with 4 points showing he still has it.

The Knights learned that they can't hit the jackpot and win everytime. Detroit slapped them silly in the 3rd period by scoring 4 goals en route to the 6-3 win. The Capitals beat the Devils 5-2. Backstrom with 4 points, Oshie with 3 points, and OV with a goal.

It was a duel between the 2 goalies in the Rangers-BJs game. Lundqvist made 40 saves, but, Bobrovsky was the winner making 37 saves as Columbus won 3-1. Torts must have been happy as he beat his former team. Jones and Werensky each had 2 points.

The other surprise team in the league is the Avs as they beat the Ducks 3-1. The Avs owned the Ducks in the first 2 periods out shooting them 18-4 in the 1st and 12-4 in the 2nd. John Gibson was in net for the 1st period and left due to an injury. Reto Berra came in and played very well despite the loss. Bernier was in net for the Avs and made 17 saves against his former team. The Avs had 2 PPGs and the Ducks lone goal was shorthanded. The Ducks had 8 penalties called on them, 6 of them were for slashing!
