Absolutely. This deal, if true, tells me everything I need to know about why the Flames didn't aquire anyone.
That said, TB needs 'something' to bolster their roster for the playoffs. I am not surprised that they value Gritt TM, and were willing to swallow that cost in hopes that a deep playoff run forgives all sins.
