Sabres win 3-0, Ullmark with the shutout in his first game. Dahlin and Skinner get their first, Sheary gets his third continuing to show great chemistry on the top line. This was an important win for the team, I feel we won’t be in that bottom feeder group this year. Maybe even in the mix for a wild card spot, you never know.

Agree, Sabres might be that team to make a big jump this year. Finally have some scoring depth and Dahlin looks like he will be a stud. Cheering for them out east this year, like a lot of their players.

I don’t normally put a lot of stock into the people they get angry about TSN fawning over the Leafs. They’re the biggest market with the biggest fan base, I expect a disproportionate amount of coverage.

But today the guy on TSN embarrassed himself. Bad.

He opened the show by saying anyone who is too young to remember the 1980s Oilers can watch the Leafs instead because they’re just as good.

Then they had about 6-8 minutes of uninterrupted Leafs coverage to open the show. Yesterday was a super busy sports day. That’s pathetic in so many ways.
