He is an awesome utility and depth player. He can play up and down the line up. He will always give it his all and doesn't hold anyone back.

To a playoff team, I think he would have a lot of value. Hopefully that team is the Flames.

Production not similar though. Glencross was hurt but year before he was traded, he was on pace for 25 goals and 50 points. He clearly fell off in last year of his contract but looks like Frolik’s fall off might be happening a year or two sooner. He had 10 goals in 70 games last year and who knows this year.

Glencross was an expiring contract.

It's Frolik's continuing contract which makes him a liability.

After all, it's why the Flames would want to move him.
