Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Bennett - Jankowski - Czarnik/Ryan
Brouwer - Ryan/Czarnik - Lazar

One more player, and Brouwer is pushed out.

Nice.

He saw our RW RHS depth. Did somebody tweet him?

Hopefully he blows up here and becomes the next Marchessault. (Just not given away in expansion haha)

Yeah the Lazar experiment ended for all intents and purposes when his former Ottawa coach went to Europe.

Disagree. at his age he still has a role on this team I think. He progressed nicely in the second half of the season. He's another player who will likely do something being away from Cameron and Gully.

Very sensible under-the-radar pick-up if this is true. I like the potential upside.

It’s nice the battles in camp should be youngish hungrier guys, not the usual PTO washed up vets, barring any later moves.

If I am Czarnik, I am working on my one timers from the dots all off-season. Hopefully Peters tries him on PP2 - this team needs a RHS on the PP.

I wish they would pay a little more attention to detail when leaking to the press.

Czarnik - over 20 teams in on this guy, Flames win.

Ryan - over 20 teams in on this guy, Ryan leaves money on the table to reunite with Peters.

Flames need to change the number of teams when leaking info to the press. Just looks sloppy otherwise. Say that 15 teams were in on Ryan (you already have won the PR battle by saying he left money on the table, thus pre-conditioning the fan base to be fine with an AAV over 3) you do not need the same number of teams in on each player.

All that said, Cznarik seems worth a roll of the dice on, depending on the cost.

Flames aren’t leaking, its the agents giddy with joy and the press pushing it out there....the results of the press hobnobbing with the agents all year and over many years so that they have the relationship in place where they can press these agents in the next 24h or less to get the scoop, and thus to appear and cement themselves to fans and thier employers as insiders.

Also, with all the interest...almost wonder if you can sign and trade a guy as such as Czarnik. Obvious he’d have to be aware of it before signing as to where he would end up, but if another team really wanted him but also had or wanted to unload a contract, and then add a very good sweetener for the Flames to take it and trade Czarnik, not impossible and that wouldn’t be a bad bit of business.

Ryan not so much because of the Peters connection.I wonder where the Czarnik link is here, if there is one.

I thought boomer's said over 20 teams for Cznarik and Seravalli said over 20 teams for Ryan. If the leaks now say different numbers that is better, more believable.

Nice addition being a Bruins fan, Czarnik has been high on Boston's prospect list. Better than a point a game player. Good depth addition by Treliving for Center. Small but gifted.

Since u like stalking me GoJetsGo did u get that.

Why does the number of teams matter? At all?

Different numbers make it more believable, that is all.

You usually know what BT is doing well in advance through the media (interest in Lindholm/Hanifin, interest in Ryan etc.). I just want attention to detail when I am being pre-positioned to be supportive of a move.

I liked the "leaving money on the table" with Ryan for instance. Liked it when they said it in the McDavid negotiations, like it here. Good spin.

Same number of teams just seemed lazy, like someone was mailing it in. I know all parties can do better than that.

But what if it is actually true? How can you say for certain that 20 teams didn't have talks with both players?

It probably is true. Maybe stretched slightly, like maybe lots of teams only offering 2 way deals, but 20+ plus kicking tires isn't very hard to believe

Have him play with Backlund and Frolik:

Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Jankowski - Bennett
Frolik - Backlund - Czarnik
Mangiapane - Ryan - Lazar

That’s a solid forward group.
