Klein is much better suited for the morning show, and it just seems like Boomer and Rhett (and even Jay) seem to enjoy it more when he's on the show.

Agreed. I usually listen to the podcast to catch what I miss in the mornings, but I do not make that effort on the days where Nault is in. The dynamic is noticeably better with Klein in there.

No, the pay in the broadcasting industry is truly awful.
My first job in tv, the local McDonald's was advertising a starting wage that was 50 cents an hour higher than the starting salary at the local tv/radio stations.
As you gain experience and work your way into larger markets, the money gets better, and people working for the national networks are doing pretty good, but a very large percentage of the people working in radio and tv (especially those behind the scenes) are barely scraping by.

I'd bet most of the hole fillers are in the $40k range, if they are even considered full-time employees.

Another example is radio show host

You can’t fine tune for Calgary but they have Toronto which should compare fairly well.
Range 30-100k
57k average
Those numbers look like what I would guess. The overall point is these guys are generally not rolling in it.

I would like to see Kevin Bieksa do media (ducks). Guy is funny.
I sometimes wish there was an alternative play by play feed of two ex players like Bissonnette and Marc Savard (goon guy and a vision guy).
Commodore could work. Ference probably is pushy enough that he could do it.

Dear Mr Wills,
Please call the game while the game is happening. The time for digressions is between whistles. Do not tell me about the starting goalies a minute into the game while the play is happening. Call the game.
Regards,
Everyone.

I think it's moreso on his station for sponsoring out EVERYTHING in a game. Here's the opening lineup presented by.... and the opening faceoff for... but lets take a look at the goalies who are brought to you by...oh and injuries...those are for...hey look a PP...the flames power play runs on. Oh and a goal was scored. the sponsored time of that goal is for...

He did this a lot this preseason. I realize it's preseason but there were huge stretches where they talked about what they had for breakfast while the play was going on.

New dude on the morning show? George Rusic?
I like him, at first blush. Knows his stuff, has a sense of humor.

Yep, I really like George, great fit.
Has the sense of humour needed, but is still very knowledgeable on his sports.
Make it happen.
