Is this ever going to be on TV again? Unless they blur the flag on the top of the Challenger, I’m guessing not.

This won’t be on TV again.

I don't think people are really that sensitive to it, it's quite a difference when it's municipalities and state governments that are flying and honouring it.

Not a traditional opening credits, but Peaky Blinders' use of Red Right Hand in different ways as a motif at the beginning of episodes is one of my favorite openings. I love seeing how they work it in.

The original Weeds intro (before the series turned to crap) was fantastic

When that theme kicks in around the 14 second mark... pure heaven.

Someone out there needs to upload a clear version of this music on to youtube so that my life can be whole again.

I never watched an episode, but I did tune in just to hear this song.

Hawaii Five O, Magnum PI and Dallas are three examples of shows where the opening sequence and music were better than the show itself IMO.

I take back what I said before. Nothing beats the Airwolf opening.

When I was going down the rabbit hole of Canadian television that I remember from my childhood, I think I found what may be the worst opening credit sequence ever:

I normally prefer when shows skip the credits and get right into things. It takes an excellent opening credits for me to not fast forward or go grab a beer.

My all time favourite is The Wire. I love how the changed the artist every season. Honorable mentions go to Doctor Who, Fresh Prince, The Muppet Show, The Simpsons, and Game of Thrones.

As a kid I liked Ninja Turtles, Darkwing Duck, and Captain Planet.

A few contemporary ones I like are Rick and Morty, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and the Marvel Netflix shows.
