I finally got it going and even on my 2080 I was only getting 45, and it didn't look quite as good as I was expecting, though I assume it varies a lot from map to map.
And while I was doing that I saw someone talk about playing Minecraft Dungeons with their kids, and I thought I read that you can play the beta of that if you have the Xbox PC Pass thing, which is on sale for $1 for a 1 month trial.. so I gave that a try but I must have misread it since it just tells me that I'm too early for the game.

It was supposed to be released April 15 I believe and then got delayed. Very misleading as many people got the pass to play as its included.

I can easily see why that game is so hyped, but I really just can't get into the concept personally. It kinda looks like Overwatch, but plays like Call of Duty. Not my style.
Speaking of Overwatch though, even without hockey, Canucks Sports and Entertainment is still no good... Their OWL team appears to be in open revolt, with much of the roster rumoured to be ready to walk. This is a team that lost the final last year, and added one of the best players in the world. Everyone is apparently mad at the management company CS&E brought in to be middle men.
Just finished Doom Eternal. The start can be a bit rough, but once you get all the guns and learn the rhythm of combat it's awesome. I also really liked the deeper lore they put into this one, made certain boss fights have a lot more weight to them. The only real complaint I have is the marauders, they completely interrupt the flow of combat when you have this ####### with an invulnerable shield rushing you and only a couple of guns are effective against. Other than that it's a fantastic game that I can see myself replaying quite a bit
Also the OST just came out and it's even better than the Doom 2016 OST, which is quite a feat

The official OST release was apparently not mixed by Mick Gordon and it's supposedly not a very good representation of the music.
Has anyone seen what the amount of hours of gameplay is supposed to be for the new XCOM game?
In the meantime, got back into Divinity Original Sin 2, finished my campaign from a year ago finally, started a new one and loving it again.
I played Divinity on the Switch and loved it. I was originally just looking for something like Diablo, but ended up with a game that blew the Diablo series out of the water IMO

PC Gamer reported that it's about 20 hours in length.
Funny enough, I too recently returned to D:OS2 and am currently working my way through the campaign. My original run was with a friend in coop but when that got abandoned I kind of forgot about it. I though we were close to finishing it but I started a new campaign and it's clear we were maybe only half way through. Really enjoying my solo run.

Maybe we'll have another Guitar Hero - Death Magnetic case on our hands where people end up extracting a better copy of the music from the actual game files than the released album offers.
Afterparty is a pretty neat little side scrolling Indy game. About a couple friends who are trying to find their way out of hell and back to earth. Really good writting to go with some sharp raunchy humour and neat story. Really liking it so far.
The Last of Us 2 has been given an official new release date of June 19.
Also, apparently, a disgruntled employee leaked a bunch of content and potentially the entire plot of the game over the weekend, so be careful about what you look at regarding the game if you're concerned about spoilers.
