It also very interesting that his happens on the same day as this....smoke screen?

The social-media giant has asked large U.S. banks to share detailed financial information about their customers, including card transactions and checking-account balances, as part of an effort to offer new services to users.
You're confusing PR with actual political leanings.
And yes, I'm arguing they not hard left leaning because if they were, they wouldn't have allowed movements like Alex Jones and the alt right to be birthed and flourish on their platforms. They do not care about politics, they care about money and optics.
People in silicon valley can be hard left, but the companies as monolithic corporations aren't.
They had to let the right in because they were open platforms, no one could have guessed YouTube would have become what it is when they got started, but now a right leaning video will get demonitized and algorithm buried a lot
faster than a left leaning one.
The new media monoliths have almost been completely absorbed under the umbrella of the multi national corporations that run the rest of media (and government, intelligence, military, etc.) for them, controlling the message is vastly more valuable than generating ad revenue. The people that run these companies are almost all Republican, but they own and promote nearly all left leaning media (my guess is that they fear the left and its ability to create change, so they polluted left media with outrage culture and identity politics to keep them squabbling over nonsense and out of their hair).
are you really arguing that a corridor that extends from san Jose to san fransisco isn't hard left leaning? In the wake of the Damore memo it came out that these companies lean hard left and employees with right leaning politics lived in fear of being found out.
There it is. The alt-right's smoking gun of political ideology purity for these organizations. I will add that some of the largest and most capitalistic enterprises on the planet, but it is all just a front for hard left leaning politics and hiding a serious attempt to censor the true intellectuals of the world.

Citation needed.
You're spewing a bunch things that are contrary to what actually happens, which is that these right wing content creators flourish on YouTube and Facebook.
But I can see now how Alex Jones getting pulled must have affected you greatly. He seems right in your wheelhouse.

I wish I could go back to a simpler time where I didn't know who he was either. But if you're interested then check out John Oliver's dissection from last year:

Not here to debate how vile Alex Jones is that goes without saying. But there are plenty of other vile people out there who violate community standards on these platforms who are still around. I mean the Westboro Baptist Church is still on Twitter. Still Censorship in my books!

It can’t really be censorship in your books when that isn’t the meaning of ‘censorship’ in any books. This isn’t censorship.
But I do think it will be touted that way by his supporters.
Alex Jones is a troll, and as pointed out in this thread, could have been banned on these platforms several times over for previous offences. He has made a mockery of conservative politics and they are better without his commentary.
However, it is a little concerning that all these major platforms colluded together to silence him for no specific recent offence (unless I have missed something).
Nevertheless, Alex Jones isn't the hill to die on. These are private companies and they have the right to restrict access to whomever they want.
Jones is a sick #### and companies have a right to exercise their right to ensure content meets to their standards of conduct.
how gullible people are is astonishing to me... this guy was peddling UFO, Lizard People and Shadow people until he figured out that the right are full of dotards ready to open their pocket books as long as he pump out lies and conspiracies...the bigger and more outrageous, the better
Calling Sandy Hook a hoax and Las Vegas as false flag/crisis actors isn't 'free speech'...
not religious, but that's one guy i hope spends an eternity in hell...

As in the sense that it isn't the government that is censoring him?

Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information, on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient" as determined by a government orprivate institution.
It's censorship. And yes he is deplorable and i have never actually listen to info wars and read any of their stuff. But there are other deployables still on these platforms and it's just weird that all of these companies colluded today to drop him. I mean i can still download an NWA song from 25 years ago.... Follow the Westboro Baptist Church on twitter...where do you draw the line?
