They were harping on it a lot earlier, probably decided that everyone's sick of hearing it by now. Either that or the producers told them to can it, or you're listening to a different team than I am.

Zavarzina was obviously paid off to make the blue course look better.

So after checking I was wrong and he was on the red course for his first run!

Is Harvey a medal threat at this distance?

Skiing champ and Snowboard champ. Pretty cool. Would like to see the majority of downhillers handle a snowboard period, let alone a slalom in the Olympics.

The higher seed was the red lane. Was that why?

Ya, it is a little confusing that we don't produce more athletes in those disciplines. But Guay would have been a pretty big medal threat for us, it really is too bad for him that he got injured when he did... Defending World Champion in Super G, and Silver Medalist in Downhill, would have made Alpine a lot more fun to watch.

It’s body part that crosses first not necessarily board.

The course workers suddenly working hard on the blue course before the Korean is assigned the blue course.

Did he win Gold at the World's in 50km Free or Classic? I thought it was Free.

I am by absolutely no means a cross country expert though

The one thing mitigating the damage of the red course effect is that the higher qualified racer chooses their side.

Edit: GirlySports, they're all choosing red.

Seems like there was some maintenance before the finals. Which appears made red a bit less decisive
