It was nice seeing Kesler get sandwiched between two AZ players.

Agreed, but considering we just spent 5.75 x 6 on Neal and his 5 goals maybe its not too far off. 5 x 5 maybe? (not from us)

The Panthers are jinxed when it comes to tie games. They lost again in the overtime. think it is five games in a row they have lost like this.

Many games are three point games for this OOT. The Predators and Wild are heading to the shoot out for the second straight game.

The Habs lead 1-0 early into the game.

Definitely clean, just lights him up shoulder to shoulder.

Interestingly, the lung injury was probably a result of Johanson s elbow digging into his rib cage and lung, from the impact of the hit and how hard he fell.

Final scores

The Penguins won 3-2 over the Panthers. Crosby with 1g and 2a. Guentzel had 2 goals including the GWG and Crosby assisted on both of them. Talk about bad luck for the Panthers, 5 of their past 6 games have gone into OT/SO and they have just won one game and that was in OT.

The Bruins were down 2-0 early in the 2nd period and scored 3 straight including a SHG from Bergeron. The Hurricanes managed to tie it and earn a valuable point as the Bruins won it in OT, Krejci scored the GWG as had 2 points. Aho had 2 goals. Both teams had great goaltending, but, the difference maker was perfect PK by the Bruins going 5-5 including a too many men minor in OT.

The Habs score once each period and relied on Price in the 3rd period as the Kings out shot the Habs 14-6 as Montreal won 3-1. Mete and Weber each had 2 points in the win. Clean game as there were on 3 minor penalties.

The above games result in a 3 way tie for the Pens, Habs, and Canes for 6th to 8th place in the eastern conf. All are just 2 points up on the 9th place BJs. Columbus won 2-1 in the SO over the Devils. Bobrovsky bailed his team out as the Devils out shot the BJs 16-7 in the 3rd period.

The Islanders stay 4 points ahead of the 3 way tie as they defeated the Senators 5-4 in the SO. The big stat in this game had the Isles dominating the shots in the 2nd period 26-8.

Klingberg scored the only goal early in the 2nd period as the Stars beat the Rangers 1-0. Bishop makes 28 saves for the SHUTOUT as the Stars move into 7th place in the western conf. Both teams were perfect on the PK.

The Ducks stop the Coyotes 6 game win streak. Anaheim scored 2 PPGs in the 3rd period for the win. The Avs and Red Wings traded goals through out the game until MacKinnon scored the GWG in OT. Rantenen had 3 points.

The Predators win in the SO for the 2nd straight game against the Wild. Johansen scored the decisive SO goal in both games. It is funny because Dubnyk, just like Stalock in the previous game, had a mini tantrum on the way Johansen nearly stopped his movement as he scored.

The Lightning defeated the Jets 5-2. Hellebucyk left the game temporarily as he had to get stitches on his face from a Kucherov shot that hit his mask very hard.
