Is anyone familiar with this company?

They've reached out to me and I figured the CP hive mind likely would be a start to learn about them.

I'm generally, I'm weary of companies contacting me. Anyone have any experience or familiarity?

How can it be fake? It says "real" right in the name.

Not saying it is a scam, but the ASC has set out some useful tools in recognizing various types of scams.

Generally what I'll do is look for the website https://realventures.com/

Then see if the people exist, the person I was chatting with has a LinkedIn and Facebook profile (and not just it existing but actual activity).

Search the address, there are two offices that seem to fit the bill.

But job descriptions are vague, offer after an online interview.

I don't have to pay anything, so it's not an investment scam.

I mean sure companies search online recruitment databases, and let's face it, I am pretty awesome, who wouldn't want to work with me?

Just make sure they aren't investing in downtown Calgary commercial real estate.

they have the buzzwords down. big bold letters on their webpage

"Real is a leading source of capital for game-changing entrepreneurs and a driving force behind emerging tech ecosystems."

so glancing at the site, they hook up entrepreneurs with money for a cut of the artion?

Maritime, did they say how you'd fit into the deal?
