It's their problem, but not sure how Montreal is doing this. They still have to sign Dach. I'm assuming Drouin and Price are good to play, but maybe that's a bad assumption.

Moving Monahan and a first to free up one year of salary would be horrible mismanagement. There would have to be something noteworthy coming back to tolerate that.
