C'mon Flames. When Ward told you to "go for #6" before the game, he meant 6 wins in a row, not shutouts.

I guess this is the letdown game after the big W over the Oilers. Whatever.

We've been shutout too many times already this season. Not fun.

The team still has an issue in the games following a big emotional win I find.

It's a cliche, but it comes across as though they start to believe their own hype and don't play a well structured game in those next games.

They continue to have terrible consistency at 5v5 this season.

6th time in 27 games the Flames have been shutout.

That's once every 4.5 games.

Big yikes.

It happens, not enough effort combined with a hot Carey Price is not a recipe for success. It is not the end of the world, the season is far from over, regroup and give a better effort next game. We are still in a good spot.

Frustrating game to watch. They pissed away a great goaltending performance by Rittich.

Argh. Everybody around the team has been warning against an emotional letdown following the last one, since the last one, and they come out emotionless anyways.

Be less predictable Flames.

That 1st period was one of, if not the, worst period of the season.

Just not their night. No energy, the legs were heavy, no emotion. Chalk it up to an ugly loss and move along. I'm sure we'll see a much better effort next game.

Whatever. on to the next. Beat the Oilers, save the world.

Although they can make things a hell of a lot easier if they didn't have a pp that sucks ass. But then again, I guess it would make winning too easy.

More than any edition of the Flames I can remember, this team will absolutely not show up for an entire period and be absolutely dominated. It has happened so many times this year, starting with the very first period of the season.

It's disappointing to go from absolutely dominating the Oilers 5v5 last game to getting absolutely dominated 5v5 two games later against a poor team.

Not good enough.... but we are used to this kind of performance by us. What's the record for being shut out in a season because we must be close to it.

One other gripe i have is it feels like we are the only team thay never has a one timer threat

They made the Habs look good. Oh well, regroup and get ready for the next one.
