Default Clamp - HELP!

CP brain trust, please help.

I need to hang-mount a power conditioner unit under a shelf. So, the first thing that came to my mind was a simple c-clamp (or u-clamp) mount that opens up to 3"-4". Something that looks like this and I would need 4 of them.

They should be selling for around $5 or so, right? Wrong. This one on amazon is priced $80, which is a rip-off, of course (there are thousands of sellers that list trivial cheap items for 100x the price, just fishing for people to click "Buy" accidentally). The problem is I can't find it anywhere. A guy at Home Depot looked at the photo like it was a differential equation "I've never seen anything like this". Seriously? A guy at Canadian Tire said that he wouldn't have a clue where to get one.

I've spent an hour on Amazon and AliExprss searching for desk-mount c-clamps and u-brackets. Nothing. This can't be happening! Anyone knows where these things are sold?

How are you mounting the conditioner to the clamps?

Looks like you'd have to buy a monitor stand for $32 to get that exact clamp. Cheaper than $80 at least.
You can check Princess Auto, they might have something.

Is the power conditioner a rack mount model by chance?

If you plan on hanging a platform to place the conditioner on, how about something like this? https://www.mcmaster.com/threaded-rod-mounts Refer to 'A'.
It would also look clean if that is a concern.

Princess Auto is a good recommendation, maybe The Bolt Supply House or Calgary Fasteners.

Guys, thanks, I thought I should clarify. I am an extreme audiophile nut, as they say. I have two audio rack shelf units – both made of welded tubular steel with s..tload of audio equipment. The shelving real estate is at premium. There is about 4" clearance under the bottom shelves to the floor. This is a perfect place for my 2 Fuhrman power conditioners, where all power cables come in (one PC under each rack). Right now they sit on the floor and I don't like it for several reasons. The conditioners are only 2"-tall + 1.5" of the shelves. So, I need about 3.5"- 4" of a bracket opening to simply clamp the power conditioners to the bottom shelves. In essence, a perfectly square c-shape steel clamp, 4" x 4"x 1" would do. I am not drilling any holes in the rack frames. Hence; the simple freakin' clamp seemed like a good idea at first...

There are cheaper c clamps out there... but they're ugly.

If you're undermounting from a rack could you strap them on? Might give a cleaner audiophile look!

This explains the technology and some history of the strap. Lots of colour options too! Will likely run you about five bucks

You’d think this type of clamp is more commonly available. Hope you’re able to find it, OP

Try busy bee tools or KMS tools. Perhaps a few Ikea clamp on lamps and hack your way through it?

Yup, something like this:

You could put a longer bolt in if needed. You would probably have to have the larger part above the shelf.

Black straps should work holding the conditioners tight under the shelves. Not sure where the buckles would go though. If under, then very difficult, almost impossible to unbuckle. Anyway, deserves a consideration, for sure. I’ll look into it. Thanks.

Still, if anyone knows where to get the clamps shown in OP, please do let me know.

I'd just have the buckles cinch on the sides (left or right on the conditioners).

Good luck!
