#### Drew Doughty. I’m voting Johnny. I don’t care about him earning it. He’s a Flame and that’s good enough for me. Three Flames at the ASG is way better than voting in some clown just to see what would happen (spoiler alert: nothing).
always earned. never given

If Doughty gets in I want extra coverage of that Pacific team in the locker room! I could see Matthew taking the opportunity to invade Doughty's personal space and make him super uncomfortable.
Can just picture it - Doughty will sit at the opposite of every room they're in and Tkachuk will just slide over beside him and wave to the cameras while he has a stroke.
Congrats to Chucky and Gio! Well deserved inclusions.
I kind of knew Tkachuk would get in leading the team in scoring and the game in St. Louis. Also great to see Gio back after the snub last year. Good recognition he is the best d man in the division.
Yeah let’s all vote for Gaudreau. Remember all those years we complained about Flames snubs with all the California players picked instead? Well now is our chance to see 3 Flames in the game.

Always earned? Jhon Scott had 11 points in his entire career
Gaudreau wouldn't be the first player to make in on past reputation when having an off year. Lord knows Flames players have been snubbed enough times they are probably due for a freebie
Heck Gaudreau is 2nd in scoring on the last man list
I think a number of you are severely underestimating the potential of this moment.
We've had campaigns for undeserving seventh defensemen like Rory Fitzpatrick, Latvia got Girgensons in, Jon Scott is famous as well.
What all of those things had in common was that people generally liked all those characters. Jon Scott won MVP, FFS.
I cannot recall a fan selected player ever being voted in out of spite. In any sport. To send a player to the All Star game, ahead of their own franchise winger, to force him to be on the same team as his most hated foe for a day is an all time troll job. They'll talk about that for fifty years. It'll overshadow his Hall of Fame induction.
Why would we not do that?

Johnny was garbage after the all stars game last year. As was a lot of people. But it's time he knows he hasn't brought his A game this year and that he's not the teams best player this year. I honestly would not vote for him.

#5 and #10 are the two players chosen directly before Tkachuk in the 2016 Draft. That would be nice enough on its own, but it's even sweeter that those players were chosen by the Oilers and Canucks.
