Connor looks to be doing OK in the date department.
Anyone else hear the Messier interview on 960? That award is a joke. Either that or Messier simply has no idea of how they come up with the winner. As he describes it, there is no voting and he has some big say in who wins. Which is sad because as Steinberg asked him questions about Giordano, it was clear he knew very little about the guy.

The fact that Messier has a leadership award named after him is a joke, let alone that he gets to choose the winner

Agree with all except Byng, that goes to Barkov. ROR should win Selke but I don't have faith that the voters know any names for that award besides Bergeron and Kopitar.

It's actually... entertaining. Kenan Thompson is a good host.
They just did a segment with that Jillian Fisher girl that does skits. I don't find her too funny.
Thomas Middleditch is doing his old timey HNIC broadcaster character now. He's so awkward, but I love everything Middleditch.

Was McDavid wearing a skate lace as a belt? Is that an Edmonton thing?

Show so far has been alright. I tuned into hockeycentral at noon (Toronto) and they had Keenan on. It was obvious he doesn’t know anything about hockey, so had low expectations going in, and it has been alright so far.

Here is a recommendation to the NHL: start the awards in an electrifying and captivating manner so that myself and other viewers aren't compelled to change the channel after 10 minutes.
Maybe hire a better production company that can improve this show.

Poor Monahan.
Haha Barkov: "We have more fans from Finland than from Florida here."
