Any other pre-packaged talking points you want to roll out?
I am not necessarily an NDP supporter...but I have a hard time with the talking point of "they crippled the economy and they took on debt". The economy was crippled by the lack of intelligent foresight by the party ruling the previous 40 years. The debt was taken on as a way to keep the debt from blowing up. Dont get me wrong...I believe the NDP has been very inefficient in their investments. However to suggest that they are the ones that crippled the economy is baseless revisionist history...

Caring about kids means not leaving them with heath and education deficits, a one-trick economy, and a climate catastrophe.

Or massive debt that cripples the financial ability to provide all those other things.
It doesn’t have to by either/or, in fact they have to go together. Sustainable health and education programs can only occur if the financial health of the province is being managed judiciously.

Interested to see the NDP's actual opinion on things like pipelines when they aren't in charge anymore.
My guess is they go back to the "pipelines bad" party line like at the federal level

Voted Alberta Party in the advance poll. I just can't support either the NDP or UCP platforms. NDP just don't seem to get it on economic management, but the UCP platform on education and social issues is incredibly awful and as a parent of young kids also important to me. Probably not much chance of an outcome other than UCP majority but the best I can do is cast my ballot for the platform and candidate that look best to me.

Yeah, let's saddle them with massive debt that will require generations to pay back.
Oh, yeah, let's kill the Oil and gas industry while we're at it, the best way the province has of paying back that massive debt.
but, subsidized daycare for the wealthy now. yay!

Because if shes acting on behalf of a Foreign influence to the detriment of the constituents who elected her and to whom she is beholden to represent their best interests then we have a serious problem.

Allegations that a fake robocall went out to a Sherwood Park riding. Caller impersonating Stephen Mandell and telling people to vote strategically to defeat the ndp and that Mandell supports Kenney.
Person who recieved the call is apparently a business leader and knows the AB Party candidate. He called the number back and it was went to a number that the person had no idea what he was talking about.
As a reminder, the Michael Sona robocall scandal from a few years back.

at 73 isn't it just as likely Mandell made those calls and then forgot?
happens to my grandpa all the time.
Remember this is the same guy who forgot to file election papers on time.

Not very likely at all. Unless other people pipe up they received calls as well I am going to file this under trash.

A simple sales tax (gasp) could reduce the debt in no time.
Also, so-called fiscal conservative governments here and elsewhere have show an inability to reduce debt.

Wut.
Interest rates are low, the added revenue sales tax added now will simply be used to leverage more debt.
Alberta's debt/gdp ratio is nothing compared to other provinces that do have a sales tax.
