To answer Karl's question from yesterday's OOT. The reason Manning is on the roster, is because, besides a fading Seabrook and Keith, the 'Hawks only even HAVE AHL quality defenseman, and they prove that game after game. Tonight, the bus from Rockford has dropped off Carl Dahlstrom to see if HE can hack it as an NHL defenseman.

Keith is on his last legs and Seabrook is done, but even them in that state are still comprehensively better than Manning. Manning really is the weakest link of all that washed up/no good D-core.
If the management has any backbone or even common sense, they would bury Manning in the AHL for the rest of the year.
