Win or lose still nice to know Flames are playing hockey as of the moment, hoping for May hockey and it starts with a win tonight (hopefully)

If the lineup is the same, and the makeup of the lines are the same, I would expect an old time WWE reveal of Peters ripping off his dress shirt and the enemy sweater being underneath.

The season's on the brink and everyone's depressed. But That Darn Puppet just can't let things go down without a fight. He's had to turn to the unholiest of help tonight:

Spoiler!

Go Flames

The season has been an incredible success no matter what happens tonight so everyone should cheer that way. Let's have fun and not make the dome a tension filled arena!

Hope the Flames play well tonight. This place is insufferable with all the arm chair GMs blowing this team up. This team can win the cup as it’s built. Special teams have been slumping for a while and they crapped the bed in a couple of games. It sucks but slumps happen.

No reason they can’t 4-0 the Avs again tonight.

The #1 line isn’t the only issue, but it’s the biggest.

If you’re going to get demolished by the other team’s best line you better show up the odd time you get a golden chance. They’ve lost 2 games in OT, had PPs in both OTs where the top line could have made a difference.

You need your best players to be your best players to win a game, never mind win a series.

Besides the goalie and maybe Gio the Flames best players are MIA.

Hah! Good luck with that. Tension will be high tonight! Hope for an early Flames goal or else it could be a long, tense night.

Screw all the negative, already given up attitude!!!

Hey man, they might lose, and if they do it’ll be a colossal bummer. But honestly I was more nervous about game four, and I thought they got their mojo back even if they couldn’t keep it up the whole game.

This team can easily win three consecutive games against this Av’s team. It starts tonight! This is how legends are made!

Go Flames!

Your comment about the 3M line isn't really true. They have been able to keep their head above water. Posted by Bingo.

As Bingo has said, the problems are the 1st and 3rd lines. In addition, Hanifin and Hamonic are getting worked

But I'll be honest, far and away the #1 reason why the Flames are losing the series is because the number 1 line hasn't been productive. That's it. That line produces at any sort of rate and this series is tied or the Flames is ahead.

i think we should go with the lines that got us here and if the players want to win they will. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Simple as that.

Need a better game from all of the leaders, especially Backlund.

Blaming secondary players, when we have been winning without their contribution all season is weak.

Just bring it!

I'm going to get up for possibly the final game (but hope not) early in the morning, win or lose, it's been a fun year and enjoyed the GTs with all of you through all the ups and downs. Thanks CP!

If the top line shows up, the Avs have no answer. All they can do is continue throwing Mack out there, but if our top line is carrying the puck, he become neutralized by default.

Pray our top line shows up.

I don’t want the season to end today.

100% this.

People can whine and complain about Neal and Jankowski and whoever.

This all comes down to Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Gio and Brodie.

3 of those 4 have been beyond bad, and for different reasons i suspect, but bad all the same.

If that doesn't change, then its goodnight Irene.
