Even if they released plans for a season with no fans it would be better than this. My main issue with the league is in how poor the communications are. You spend money and buy tickets, and then hear basically nothing for months on end. But I agree with you here. There's been a huge transparency issue from the league towards supporters from the start. We heard months ago that there was a planned start date of May long weekend. That's in less than 6 weeks. Just be up front with your customers. We all see the state this country is in, it shouldn't surprise anyone.

Cavalry themselves are okay, they have no idea of what's going on either. And any info they've managed to get they've passed on.

Yeah as a season ticket holder, I haven't heard in a long time what's happening with my 2020 payment and my 2020 seat. Sure would be nice to hear SOMETHING.

If they had announced any sort of plan and made it possible, I would have bought season tickets for the upcoming season.

Yup, they announced their return to training today. I think that makes them, Edmonton, Halifax and Ottawa back to training officially.

Yeah, it might seem like just complaining, but the truth is I’ve paid for seats and other merchandise. I’ve supported the club because while I know there are going to be growing pains and issues like that, if you want these things in your city, you need to put your money where your mouth is. For some reason though, Cavalry just makes that so hard to do. Like all I want to do is support the club and basically give you money for things. In return, give me some idea of the plan is and keep me in the loop.

I don’t know. I really want the team and league to succeed (expect Forge!). We all know and accept that even if they said “here’s our plan” and then had to reneg on the whole thing, that no one would fault them for it. It’s a crazy scenario and impossible to predict with certainty. But some information is better than none here.

Roskopf was released today. Reasoning given "Despite best mutual efforts, due to the challenges and constraints brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, Cavalry FC and Matias Roskopf (ARG) have reached a mutual termination agreement which allows Roskopf to be able to be a free agent and play closer to home."

I know other season ticket holders have gotten calls today but this afternoon I got a call from Oliver. They sure put him to work once he signed that contract!

I think it’s a nice touch that they’re reaching out to the community. Told him congrats on the contract and glad that he’s back
