The Jets average 6 goals a game against the Avs this year. What a shame the Avs don’t have a goalie this year, they could have been a contender. Maybe they will fix that problem over the summer.

I don't think so at all. I have Winnipeg taking it all simply because up front they're deep. On D they're solid, and goaltending may be best in the league. Dallas is much the same so it'll be a great matchup.

He has let in 5 or more goals in three of the last 16 games which probably isn't that great. 4 or more in five of the last 16.

Didn't Hellebuyck have a streak of 30 games in a row or something without letting in 4+?

If you roll a 6 on this guy you better win, and they didn't.

Dude, their D and goalie just got up like a Christmas tree. If that was Dallas that has goaltending and not playing river hockey like the Avs do that is a pretty bad loss.

Jets don’t need their A game to beat a team like Colorado. I do agree they would have to be better to beat Dallas.

They absolutely need their A game to beat Colorado. If they let off the gas a little bit it is over for them. They aren't going to coast past the Avs.

Wow missed the game but crazy highlights. I would have no problem with either team going all the way. Some beauty players on both teams.

They lost by one goal with a garbage goalie

If they get average goaltending, they’d beat the Jets easily

The Avs really should've addressed the goaltending at the deadline. They did everything but.

Average goaltending seems like an impossible goal to achieve.

I'm guessing Chris MacFarland moved to the top of Conroy's speed dial list after that goaltending performance.

They were pretty fortunate at the start of the game when Colorado was all over them. It could have turned ugly pretty fast. Then some bad defensive plays and Gorgiev not being able to come up with a big save got the Jets back into it.

Josh Manson from what I saw was horrible in that game. Considering he's a major reason why Anaheim is such a mess right now because Bob Murray loved him more than anything else on this Earth.

Colorado is going to need their top 6, and top 2 defence to do everything, and that doesn't last in playoff hockey.

Fully expect Hellebuyck to have a massive bounce back. Can’t say the same for whomever the Avs trot out for game 2.

They lit up the likely Vezina trophy winner, yet still lost the game. This might be a tough one to bounce back from.

Sportsnet narrative is that the Jets will tighten up defensively the next game (I agree) but they are asking what colorado can do after scoring seven as though they are out of options. Ummm.... Avs can also tighten up defensively as well and not let in seven? Obviously jets have a huge goalie advantage, but both teams will make adjustments. Sportsnet logic.
