Email Client of Choice? (Outlook, Opera, Mozilla Thunderbird, Gmail)

Yes you can, but the mail client is sort of built into the browser interface by hitting the O and bringing up the mail and chat clients.

I prefer the configuration and ease of customizing Opera as well. Opera also invented most of the features other browsers eventually copied like tabbed browsing, speed dial, etc. I cannot use the internet without Opera's mouse gestures.

Thunderbird and Lightning have worked pretty well for me. I use the Google calendar extension in Lightning, so I can set up my calendar in Google and access it via Lightning or other calendar apps like on my phone. All email accounts are set up as IMAP so I can access them via smartphone or desktop.

I am starting to find the constant updates for Thunderbird, and other Mozilla products to be bordering on the annoyance level of Adobe updates.
