Love the concept, but the execution is off. Someone's insistence on the base being black/dark really threw the whole vibe off, and I wish they left the awful gold logo off of it.
Swing and a miss, but hopefully they swing again as they're so close to re-committing to their best look.
Reminds me of when we left the Retros for the Cowboys

One positive sign is that Adidas seems to have figured out how to do diagonal stripes on hockey jerseys again. Maybe that opens the door to the Flames returning to the 2004 cut if they don't want to go full-retro.

That is hideous despite having a good logo and template. It looks like a jersey by committee where they couldn't decide on black and orange or eggplant and teal so just decided to do them all. With the grey, white, and yellow that makes 7 freaking colours on this hot mess. Not to mention the two most prominent colours, black and teal, make it look like a Sharks jersey. Still not the worst Ducks third jersey though:
This one is pretty bad too. The Ducks are not good at making 3rd jerseys:
