I hate logos that have cartoon animals or hockey sticks in them. It seems so minor league.
But whatever. There aren't a lot of cool options when your team is called the Ducks anyway.

So much better than their last jersey. But still could be vastly improved.
Shoulder patches are bad, purple is too dark, and they don’t need the silver.

You are wrong. The OG uniform is one of the best ever.
That being said, I think this would be better if they'd picked between the eggplant and black. If they wanted to do eggplant, just go full retro and use the original jersey. If they wanted to make it a new thing, go black, but realize that that's pretty similar to the Sharks.

It would have been better if they had just gone to a straight retro rather than this mish-mash of different styles.
Purple body instead of black would have been better, and there's just way too much going on around the shoulder/collar area. Their old jerseys didn't have the contrasting colour shoulders or the string on the collar.
These ones have: teal shoulder, small grey stripe, thick black collar, small purple piece at the front of the collar, and the white string. That's five different colours in extremely close proximity to each other. Then, they top it off by throwing in their modern logo on top the shoulders to add gold and orange to the mix.
It would have been much better if they had kept it simpler.

Don’t like the shoulder patch, but it’s cool that they are implementing everything from their design history over the years.
Eggplant and teal and people are calling it a sharks jersey? What?
It’s about time teams starting to doing more fun designs for their alternate jerseys. Right up there with coyotes one for me.

There's only the tiniest embellishment of that color. The main color is black. Teal and black is literally the Sharks colors.
